My sister and I had an appointment with Debbie Morgan (please note that she is THE Broker) for 3:15 on Thursday Oct 26, to look at a rental house in Gloucester Courthouse. We arrived at 3:08. My sister drove from Hampton, a 45 minute trip each way. I changed plans for my day in order to accompany my sister. Debbie established the appointment time because she said she had 2 other showings, same house, one for 3:30 and one 4:00 pm. At 3:40 we called her cell......no answer so called the main office number. Guess what? Ms. Broker was in the office! She got her "time mixed up". And she could meet us in 20 minutes. We declined to wait. It was now 3:50. My sister who is much nicer than I am, chalked it up to "oh well".......not so me. I spoke to Ms Morgan today. She said she didn't write the time down....big mistake. You are a real estate broker, apparently with a poor memory. She also claimed she showed the house to 2 other people, one at 4 pm. She must drive a very fast car to have made it the trip from Mathews to Gloucester in 10 minutes. And what happened to the 3:30 appointment?? We never saw anyone else come. Very unprofessional, very dated. She could not "remember" the time. With the availability of various media, iPad, phones, etc. or just plain old pencil and paper that is not a good excuse. Buyer or rentor beware. At the end of our conversation she had the nerve to say the house was "still available!" Really! I truly doubt she showed it. This is one person who needs to retire....NOW.
